Jordi Puigneró | Generalitat de Catalunya

Jordi Puigneró has a degree in Information and Process Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey (United Kingdom). His professional career began at the IT Department of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, where he worked as an analyst and programmer from 1997 to 2000. He then moved to IBM, where he worked as a senior consultant and head of IT projects and new technologies in 2000-2003.
In September 2003, he joined Sant Cugat City Council as the mayor’s chief of staff. In 2013, he was appointed General Manager of Telecommunications and the Information Society. He is currently the Secretary for Governance of the Information and Communication Technologies attached to the Government of Catalonia’s Ministry of the Presidency.
