Miquel Rey has a degree in Business Administration and Management from ESADE and an MBA from the University of Michigan and the Universität zu Köln, specialising in International Marketing. His focus and desire to learn about new cultures and countries has led to his mastery of 7 languages. He began his professional career in Deloitte as an auditor and consultant, developing his experience in marketing, sales, international expansion, R&D, talent management and leadership of a Catalan multinational textile sector company for 12 years.
Starting in 2011, he began leading the TecnoCampus project, CETEMMSA and Aigües de Mataró as president, while also working in the public service as a councillor in Mataró City Council until, October 2015. In November 2015, he became the General Business Director of Eurecat.
